Unified Planning

Work Program (UPWP)

The Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) is a federally required document that describes how the federal Consolidated Planning Grant (CPG) funds, allocated to the MPO, will be used and what planning activities the MPO and its partnering agencies will undertake. The UPWP is developed by the MPO staff with input from local governments, Flint Hills ATA, and the Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT). A new UPWP is produced each year and can be amended at anytime.
