Active Transportation Infrastructure Investment Program (ATTIP)

What is ATIIP?

A new competitive grant program created by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to construct projects to provide safe and connected active transportation facilities in active transportation networks or active transportation spines

What type of work will this grant fund in our region?

If awarded, this grant will fund planning & design (no construction) work on four segments of trail and multi-use paths across the region (see maps below).  The final designs will provide for safe, comfortable, and direct connections for people walking and biking, as well improvements to adjacent roadways, sidewalks, crossings, and overall streetscapes.  In Junction City and Ogden, the segments will provide connections within the heart of each community.  In Manhattan, one project would connect to the Green Valley Road area, while the other to Tuttle Creek State Park and the recreation opportunities within.

Public Right-of-Way

All four segments of this grant will be located entirely within public right-of-way.  No private land will be studied or included in the work.
